The position of Branch Manager offers applicants the chance to work with a friendly and hardworking team selling a huge range of top quality products, mainly in the marine and fishing sectors. This role offers the best of both worlds - you will have the opportunity to manage a significant business unit (including doing your own stock ordering and rostering your staff), but also represent a premier brand and have the support of a knowledgeable and supportive Regional Manager and Head Office.

 This role leading our busy Gaunt Street store, close to Westhaven Marina, is at the epicentre of NZ's marine industry. It will suit a confident, self-motivated person with strong retail and management experience, and a deep knowledge of our product areas.

Requirements for this role

To succeed in this role you will:

  • have solid retail management experience
  • be well immersed in our product areas with practical boating and fishing experience
  • be keen to champion our customer service culture
  • lead from the front, be hands on and happy to have an "on your feet" job
  • you'll be able to do work alternating weekends and some public holidays as required

This is a full time Permanent position.  The working week is 44.5 hours and over a typical fortnight, you would work 1 weekend and 8 week days.  You would also be required to work some public holidays. References will be required.
