What size ducting does it the sphere fit?

You can vent in 2 ways - up or straight out. If you are going up, you can get a vent adapter (we don't stock) the existing outlet is rectangular 40mm x 70mm and the adapter diameter is 120mm.
If you are venting straight out, the installer will use the rectangular outlet 40mm x 70mm to duct from. Cheers!

Does this range hood extract to the outside ? if so is it out the back or top ?

It extracts through the top which will need to have ducting installed as this is not included.
