X45 / X45X Full Shield

Resists blank twist. Increased accuracy and sensitivity.

X45 and X45X Full Shield Technology efficiently decreases blank twist with 45 degree carbon wraps. X45X takes everything to the next level, and is 25% more efficient than standard X45 technology. With increased torsional stiffness, blanks armed with X45X resist blank twist during casting and jigging. This characteristic prevents the blank from losing stored energy during the cast, ensuring that every bit of force you put into your cast, is transferred through the blank and ultimately to your chosen lure. AGS Guides

Ultra lightweight carbon guides. Adding lightness to rods.

The Air Guide System (AGS) provides anglers with an unparalleled angling experience. Weighing a mere fraction of the weight of traditional guides (40% lighter than an equivalent sized titanium guide) AGS guides feature a solid carbon fibre frame construction that minimises weight, improves casting distance and performance, and delivers faster rod speed, reduced rod vibration and angler fatigue, and greater rod sensitivity.

V-Joint / V-Joint Alpha

No flat spots. True one peice feel.

Bias construction within the ferrule allows it to flex with the rod, eliminating the weak, unbending spot caused by ordinary ferrules. The result of this revolutionary technology is a multi piece blank that matches the performance of onepiece blanks in flex, power and responsiveness. Lighter and stronger than its predecessor, V-Joint Alpha features Bias construction with nanoplus technology creating lighter joins that offer a true one piece feel to multipiece rods.

Nanoplus

Lighter, more responsive blanks.

Graphite rods featuring Nanoplus technology are lighter and more sensitive than a standard graphite rods. Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank. The result is a lighter, more responsive and refined blank. Nanoplus is used with a variety of carbons that Daiwa produces such as HVF (HVF Nanoplus), SVF (SVF Nanoplus) and many more to achieve a premium feel and quality that give the angler the upper hand.

3DX

Ultimate lifting power. 3D Cross Wrap

3DX supports the lower power section of the rod by knitting carbon fibers in 3 directions to achieve a six wrap rectangular weave. Power to the lower section of the rod, increases power, eliminates blank twist and collapse, all the while reducing angler fatigue.

AirFoam

Carbon technology

Daiwa has created exclusive graphite construction processes combining precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to produce rod blanks with a range of graphite densities. The wide range of densities help produce an array of quality rods throughout the range with a vast selection of actions and tapers for anglers to choose from.

Standard Carbon

Normal carbon sheet has higher density of resin to link each carbon cell.

HVF Carbon

Reduced resin and increased carbon density to increase the strength and reduce weight.

SVF Carbon

Further reduced resin from HVF to increase the carbon density creating a thinner rod with more strength and further reduced weight.

Super SVF Carbon

Further reduced resin from SVF COMPILE-X to increase the carbon density to further increase the performance of the rod.

Z SVF Carbon

Further reduced resin from Super SVF. By arranging the placement of carbon material Daiwa creates a feather light rod that is sensitive yet maintains strength.

Special Z SVF Carbon

Created by the Daiwa's unique technology, SPECIAL Z SVF achieves the lightest weight with extreme sensitivity and strength.

SVF Compile-X Carbon

Further reduced resin from SVF to achieve a higher carbon density creating a thinner rod with more strength and further reduced weight.
