Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping systems running and maintained? We’re looking for an IT/Operations Specialist to join our Support Office team and help drive technical and practical support to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the Burnsco business and premises.

This is an entry level role, and will be predominately based in our Half Moon Bay Support Office.

This role will cover duties such as, but not limited to:

Frontline support

• Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries from Retail stores and Support Office staff.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

• Provide guidance and training to staff on basic IT troubleshooting and system use.

  Proactive IT systems Maintenance

• Support the rollout of new technology solutions and upgrades.

• Monitor system performance and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.

• Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks across all systems.

  Operational Support

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and warranties.

  Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and operational efficiency.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to retail and operations.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong technical literacy and problem-solving skills

• A background, or passion, in IT

• Familiarity with hardware logistics

• Experience with IT systems, networks, and software tools

• Up to date with emerging technologies
