Description

The Shimano Sedona 4000 slow fishing rod and reel combo delivers both performance and durability.
The Sedona 4000 reel has plenty of stopping power with an 11kg maximum drag, which is significant for a reel of this size, with a fast 6.2:1 gear ratio you are able to retrieve up to 99cm per line with every line crank. The shielded anti reverse bearings add durability to the reel while the propulsion line management system allows you to flick your kabura or slow pitch lures ahead of your drift without worrying about line twist and wind knots.
The Vortex rod, sitting at 6'6'' in length, is capable of flicking your lures slightly furthur while having the sensitivity to pick up those taps and bites on the drop. Being a composite rod with an integrated tip increases the durability of the rod from knocks around the boat while still allowing exceptional performance when hooked up.
Overall, this Shimano Sedona 4000 slow jigging set offers great bang for your buck and offers versatility, reliability and is perfect for those getting into their slow jigging.
