Description
The next step up in the evolution of Ronstan Orbit Winches is the 30QT. Featuring all the benefits of the smaller brother the 20ST, this model also has the patented QuickTrim self tailer feature. This allows sailors to easily and safely ease line tension to make minor sail trim adjustments without having to remove the winch handle or take the line out of the self tailer. This allows racing and cruising sailors alike to react and respond instantly to minor changes in wind direction or steering, providing an unmatched advantage and convenience when frequent sail trim adjustments are required. The non-abrasive drum surface extends the service life of running rigging and allows for smooth and controlled easing, even under high loads. Using the ever reliable and proven Anderson winch gearing configuration, this Ronstan 30QT Orbit Winch also has sprung self-tailing jaws which will accept line from 7-12mm. With 2 speed functionality this winch has the ability to crank fast, powerfully and accurately.
