Description

The Shimano Genpu 200PG XT is a compact yet powerful reel, widely trusted for slow jig fishing. Finished in a bold red and black design, it’s well-suited for targeting kingfish, snapper, and a variety of inshore table species. A new 60mm crank handle with an oversized knob delivers the toughness and control needed for demanding fights, while the compact body ensures easy palming and handling. With a line capacity of 200m of 20lb braid, the 200PG XT also has the depth range to take on fish in slightly deeper waters.
The Shimano Vortex 6'6" Overhead Rod is purpose-built for New Zealand fishing conditions, combining strength, sensitivity, and durability in one reliable package. At its core is a Power-Carbon composite blank crafted from glass and graphite, delivering the perfect balance of resilience and responsiveness. Outfitted with Titanium Oxide Seaguides for smooth line management, comfortable EVA grips, and a secure Shimano graphite reel seat, the Vortex 6'6'' is a great value rod to pair with the Genpu for those slow jig inshore missions.
