Description

The Shimano Grappler Type J S566 is built for mechanical jigging with spin setups, providing a balance of power and control. At 5’6” with a 2-piece Spiral X / Hi-Power X carbon blank, it delivers strength, responsiveness, and reduced blank twist for effective jig presentation. Rated for PE6 line and up to 300g jigs, it’s suited to mid-heavy offshore jigging situations.
Equipped with a Fuji reel seat, Ocean Guides, EVA grips, and a practical rubber gimbal, this rod offers durability and comfort with quality componentry.
Ideally paired with a Shimano Twin Power SW 10000PG, 14000XG or Saragosa SW10000PG or 14000XG to make a bulletproof combo for targeting Kingfish.
