Answer The Question

Does this solar vent meet requirements for a camper with two burner gas cooker to comply for self containment certificate
Question by: Graeme Drewery on 20/11/2021, 9:52 am
A self containment certificate deals with water and waste handling not gas appliances and ventillation. Any gas appliance must meet appropriate NZ/Aus standards and should be installed by a registered gas technician.
This solar vent moves 25 m3 of air per hour. Please consult a specialist gas appliance installer for certification and ventillation legal requirements

There is an push on/off switch located inside the vent. You can press easily with a finger, thanks.
