Description
Sikaflex-291 is a non-sag 1-component polyurethane sealant specifically developed for the marine market, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture. Multipurpose product for use in marine construction. It is suitable for making elastic vibration-resistant joint seals and can also be used for a variety of interior and exterior sealing applications.
- Suitable for all sealing and light bonding applications
- Can be sanded
- Can be overpainted with many paints
- Resistant to aging and weathering
- Bonds well to a variety of substrates
- Permanently elastic
- Surface Preparation:
- General - All surfaces must be clean, dry and contaminate free
- Sealing - Depending on substrate, clean surface with either Sika Cleaner 205(UPC: 36893 ) or Sika Activator. Priming is generally not required
- Bonding - Cleaning and priming required(UPC: 18653 & 31852)
