Answer The Question
I already have one of these 150W panels on my caravan. I'm also using the Epever 20A solar charge controller. Things are working well. I now want to put a second 150w panel on the roof to help with winter charging. I see you recommend using the 30 or 40A controller. Will I have problems if I continue to use the 20A controller that's already installed?
Question by: Michael Dew on 1/07/2023, 11:10 pm
The 20A regulator is rated for a maximum of 260W at 12V, so if you connect 300W to the regulator, the reglator can be overloaded and fail - this will also void the warranty. thanks
