Do you have strong sales knowledge and customer relationship skills that could help lead our Trade strategy? We’re looking for a Trade Manager to lead the trade team and drive excellence in trade operations for both the customer and stores, develop and grow our Tradie network.
This role will be based in Auckland, with travel required.

This role will cover duties such as, (but not limited to):
-
Assisting in the development of strategy in relation to the Company’s Trade business.

Creating and managing relationships with Trade Customers and Branch Managers.

Establishing appropriate criteria and procedures for accepting and managing new Trade customers, including credit and business checks.

determining the appropriate credit limit to be provided to different Trade customers

Developing the Company’s trade business.

Providing sales forecasts to the Product Team.

Organising, attending and facilitating Burnsco presence at trade shows.
What we’re looking for in a successful applicant:

Strong relationship building skills – The ability to create and maintain strong with trade partnerships and not be afraid to create discussions which could lead to extra opportunity.

Relationship Development skills – A focus on developing the relationships with BMs and their Trade Customers.

Great communication skills – you will be facilitating work between different customers/departments.
