Description
A two component primer utilising state of the art chromate anti-corrosive technology designed for the use on aluminium structures, plate, extrusions and galvanised substrates. It has been developed for use above the waterline (non-immersion) to provide the very best adhesion and optimised control of filiform corrosion
- Ideal for aluminium surfaces on boats, trailers, caravans, house trucks, horse floats or any other vehicle fabricated in aluminium
- Can be overcoated with any high performance epoxy or polyurethane product to give a professional finish
- Not suitable on surfaces subject to continuous immersion
- Easy to use 1:1:1 ratio (Part A : Part B : Thinner)
- Thinner: Altex Thinning Solvent #12, our PLU 57165
- Touch dry: 10-20 mins @ 25°C
- Time to recoat: 3 hrs
- Maximum time to overcoat:24 hrs
- Coverage: 15m2 per litre at 20 microns
