Promo Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of the Win the Ultimate $5,000+ Prize Pack competition (Competition) is Burnsco. 

2. The Competition is governed by these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions). By entering into the Competition you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions. 

3. The Competition begins at 12:01am on 8 May 2025 and ends at 11:59pm on 8 June 2025 (the Competition Period). 

4. To enter the Competition, you must either sign up to become a Burnsco Club Member (free to join) or update your contact details as a Burnsco Club Member, and ensure you are opted in to receive updates and offers, during the Competition Period. You can do this at https://www.burnsco.co.nz/competition, at any Burnsco store, or at Burnsco’s stand at the Hutchwilco Boat Show.  

5. When you update your contact details or sign up to become a Burnsco Club Member within the Competition Period, you will receive one entry in the Competition. 

6. In the Competition, only one entry per person is allowed. If you update your contact details or sign up to become a Burnsco Club Member more than once during the Competition Period, only one entry will be valid for the Competition.  Burnsco may require satisfactory proof of identity before releasing any prize. 

7. For your entry to be valid, your Burnsco Club Member contact details must be complete and up to date (including a valid email address, first and last names, mobile phone number, and interests), and you must be opted in by having “Send Me Club Info and Exclusive Deals” ticked. 

8. All information relating to the Competition and all personal information will be held by Burnsco in accordance with our Privacy Policy https://www.burnsco.co.nz/company-info/privacy-policy  

9. The winner will receive a prize pack worth over RRP$5,000 including: 

10. A Competition draw will take place within a week of the end of the competition. The draw will be conducted by Burnsco by random selection from all valid entries on the Competition Draw Date. 

11. No prize is transferable, exchangeable or refundable, nor negotiable. The prize pack may differ to what is pictures and is subject to availability. Burnsco reserves the right to swap products from the prize pack for a similar item, with the overall value remaining above RRP$5,000. 

12. Burnsco will endeavour to notify the winner of the prize by phone or email (using the mobile phone number and email recorded in their Burnsco Club Member contact details) within 7 days of the Competition Draw Date. 

13. If for any reason Burnsco is unable to make contact with a winner within 7 days of their relevant Competition Draw Date, the winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be drawn and the prize will be given to the new winner. 

14. If you are the winner, you consent to Burnsco’s use of your name and image for publicity and promotional purposes (including the display of your name in store, on the Burnsco website and on Burnsco social media) and you agree to make yourself available for publicity photographs.  Receiving your prize is conditional on your consent to this being given and not revoked. 

15. Burnsco may use your personal information from your entry to conduct this Competition and for its own future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. By entering this Competition, you consent to receiving promotional material from Burnsco including brochures and emails. 

16. Burnsco staff and their immediate family and employees of any of Burnsco’s suppliers are ineligible to enter the Competition. 

17. Burnsco will not be liable if, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned. This includes, but is not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Burnsco which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition. 

18. Burnsco has the right to suspend, delay or terminate the Competition, or any remaining part of the Competition, if material pandemic or any other Government or health authority prescribed restrictions are imposed on all or any part of New Zealand during the Competition Period.  In this event, no prizes (or further prizes) will be awarded. 

19. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the Competition (including eligibility), the decision of Burnsco will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by Burnsco in relation to the Competition will be entered into. 

20. Burnsco reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, amend or suspend the Competition or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
