Description
A two-pack, thin film adhesion primer designed as the basis for high performance marine systems. Featuring excellent anti-corrosive properties Altex Epoxy Primer can be used as a primer on suitable prepared steel, alloy, GRP and wooden substrates. Also designed to be used to seal off prepared aged coatings prior to repainting.

- Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates
- Ideal for use below the waterline
- Not designed to be sanded
- Mixing ratio: 4:1 by volume
- Lead and chromate free
- Rapid dust-free and touch dry response
- Excellent anti-corrosive properties
- Thinners: Spray: Altex Thinner #12, Brush/roller: Altex Thinner #22
- Touch dry: 1 hr @ 25 degrees
- Time to recoat: 2 hrs @25 degrees
- Hard Dry: 8 hrs @25 degrees
- Time to Antifoul: minimum 2 hrs @25 degrees
- Coverage: 2 coats/9m2 per litre at 50 microns dry
