Description
Timbercote is an exterior gloss polyester varnish designed for use on all marine bright work. It may be used to upgrade sound existing varnish systems, or over prepared epoxy sealed timber, or even over teak that has been sufficiently de-oiled. Timbercote requires that a sufficient number of coats (5) are applied in order to lay up an adequate level of UV absorber to protect the timber surface. It is recommended that Timbercote be thinned up to 50% by volume to aid levelling, film thickness control and rapid thorough-hardening.
- Exterior clear polyester gloss varnish
- Single component high gloss UV reinforced
- Spray, Brush or Roller
- Altex Thinner #53 or #45
- Theoretical Coverage Rate: 14.8sqm per litre. Touch dry in 2Hrs, hard in 24hrs, can be self recoated within one week
