The Yachting New Zealand (YNZ) Cat 1 and 2 Flare Pack contains the minimum prescribed selection of marine distress flares for Category 1 and 2 Offshore Racing Yachts.
- x4 Pinpoint Red Hand Flares: visible up to 20kms at night and used to pinpoint position to searchers. Burn time - 60 seconds at 20,000 candela
- x2 Orange Hand Smoke Flares: produces dense clouds of orange smoke. Used by day and highly effective in pinpointing position the aircraft as wells as indicating wind direction and strength. Burn time - 60 seconds
- Supplied in a floating container
- Life expectancy: 4 years (from Date of Manufacture)
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
