Is Valvoline 2 Stroke Oil at $49.99 ok to use in a Mercury 150 EFI 2012 motor? Its a lot cheaper so are Mercury charging for their name or is it a better product ?

Many outboard manufacturers sell their own brand of oil as a revenue source... The Valvoline oil is designed to meet the requirements of NMMA FC-W specifications required by many outboard manufacturers and in most cases is a good alternative.
