Can this be used as the sealant to install a roof vent on a camper van?

Hi Steve and thanks for your enquiry.
Without seeing your vent and rooftop, I'd expect that you could use this Rescue Tape as an adhesive tape in combination with fixings to secure the vent to the roof. In doing so you should get some level of sealing, but to ensure the vent was fully sealed, I would suggest that you apply some Sika sealant (40436) around a clean, dry outer perimeter (mask each side of the joint first) after fixing the vent, to give a fully watertight seal.
