Description

The Rocna Fisherman was designed as a specialist anchor for fishermen and others who re-anchor frequently during the day. It has all the innovative features of the Rocna Original plus a shackle rail for easier recovery of a fouled anchor.
Recommended by boaties around the world and independently tested as one of the best, Rocna anchors stand out for their holding power, setting ability and ease of use.

The Rocna Fisherman offers two modes of operation:
1. Retrievable mode - using the shackle rail, for use when the anchor is likely to become fouled (not to be used for overnight or unattended anchoring)
2. Secure mode - using the secure attachment point designed for overnight or unattended anchoring.
  • Quick setting
  • High tensile steel shank - extremely resistant to twisting and bending forces
  • Shackle rail for easy recover of a fouled anchor
  • Geometry resists wind and current shifts and doesn't easily trip out upon load reversal.
  • Features an innovative roll bar to ensure it always lands and sets upright for maximum holding power
  • A concave blade gives the greatest resistance, and through clever design Rocna provides the largest blade area possible
  • Self-launching: The shank is high tensile steel, and designed so the anchor self-launches.
  • No lead or cast iron weights
  • Offers greater security and peace of mind for sailors, boaties and fishermen
  • Material: High-strength alloy steel with hot-dipped galvanised (Stainless steel finish available by special order)
  • Application: Most bottom types
  • Sizes available (kg): 4, 6
  • Warranty: Lifetime
  • Use with: Short Link Chain
  • Use an Anchor Swivel with this anchor
  • Use High Tensile Shackles with this anchor
  • Suggested rope for a windlass winch: Multi-Plait Rope
