Description

Unlock the ultimate slow jigging experience with the Shimano Lucanus Jig.
Available in 60, 80, or 100 grams and a range of enticing colours, this jig boasts a dual eyelet, double assist hook rig, and durable silicon skirts. It is perfect for targeting snapper, kahawai, gurnard, or John Dory either over the sand or over reef. Its true versatility shines in work up situations or where you can see bait being rounded up and in tight balls on your sounder.
Technique - Simply drop the jig to the bottom, wind 1/3 up very slowly with the odd twitch. Drop again. Then repeat. When you feel the fish bite, do not set the hook. Keep reeling in slowly until you feel the fish has hooked themselves. Alternatively drop and drag on the bottom with the odd twitch while the boat is drifting.
  • Hydrodynamic head lets it sink quickly to the bottom and stabilises the jig when it is retrieved
  • Dual eyelet system, the bottom eyelet can be used to install a sinker for fast current conditions
  • Glow eye for extra appeal in deep water
  • Multiple hook system provides higher hook-up ratio
  • Durable silicon skirt and trailers wobble and vibrate during the jig movement
  • Weights: 60g, 80g or 100g
  • Colours: Sunset Crab, Green Shroom, Pink Shroom, Coral Shrimp
