Description
Scoop strainer is designed to divert large objects away from water intakes while vessels are moving
- Helps eliminate problems with seagrass, sticks, or rubbish being sucked into engine intakes blocking or clogging filters.
- Round strainer is designed for stationary applications where the there is a risk of sucking in unwanted objects
- Acts as a course first stage filter that is cleaned by water movement
- Eliminate the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings
- Can be painted over with anti-foul and can be faired into the hull without corrosion concerns
- Compatible with all hull types e.g. aluminium, steel, wood or FRP hulls
- UV and chemical resistant
- Can be painted over with all types of antifoul
- Can takes bumps or knocks without damage
- Available in 19, 32 and 50mm
