Do you need to buy a battery charger for the rechargeble batteries or do you put them in the radios and plug into the USB cords provided to charge the batteries?

Hi Yolanda and thanks for your enquiry
These units take either rechargeable or standard AAA batteries. If you use rechargeable batteries, then you could either recharge them directly in the units by attaching the micro USB cables provided - the most cost effective and convenient way, but you could also use a separate battery charger to recharge the batteries once they are removed from the units.
