Description
Sikaflex®-295 UV is a 1-component polyurethane adhesive of paste-like consistency that cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture. It is suitable for interior and exterior sealing applications and to bond organic glass in the marine industry.
- A direct glazing adhesive/sealant used to bond and seal acrylic, polycarbonate and other organic materials
- Excellent adhesion properties
- Resistant to aging and weathering
- Excellent UV resistant
- Can be used to seal joints in areas of high exposure
- PLEASE NOTE - a blackout tape must be fitted to the outside of the window as secondary UV protection. Due to variations in surface quality, Sika (NZ) does not guarantee the performance of Sikaflex 295 UV on acrylic, polycarbonate or any other form of organic windows
- Surface Preparation for Acrylic/polycarbonate or other windows, abrade with 180-250 grit sandpaper. Wipe with Sika Cleaner 205 (wipe on/wipe off), then apply Sika Primer 209
